University of South Alabama's Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The mission of the University of South Alabama Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is to provide support for employees who are experiencing personal concerns, which are impacting or have the potential to impact their work performance and quality of life. Counseling services are available to all benefits-eligible employees at no cost. EAP counseling visits are confidential, and support is provided in a variety of areas.
Counseling Services
Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counseling services provide a safe space for employees to process any difficulties or challenges they have encountered, including but not limited to stress, anxiety, depression, grief, or burnout. These free counseling sessions are designed to help employees through difficulties and begin progress towards achieving balance in their life or at work.
Coaching
South’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides two different styles of coaching to help employees reach their full potential both professionally and personally. Life Coaching services are designed to help individuals identify and pursue their personal goals, while Executive Coaching services focus on professional development and growth. Both services provide a collaborative, personalized, and solution oriented approach for those who feel they have not reached their full potential and want to make consistent progress towards desired outcomes.
Organizational Development
Organizational Development services are designed to increase a department or team's capacity for efficiency and positive change. These services include free training seminars to educate employees in the best practices to maintain a healthy workplace, or provide interventions to address problems in the work environment. These services are designed to help to achieve a cohesive, efficient, and healthy professional environment.
